Sales Executive
Job Purpose
A strategic position aimed at executing the 'Beyond Gas Initiative' within Emirates Gas, focusing on the marketing of LPG accessories and Agency Sales products to both local and international LPG contractors and clients in the EMGAS marketing regions.
Principal Accountabilities
- Supply Management and Product Development
- Identifies the introduction of new products through interactions with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) during seminars, exhibitions, and business meetings.
- Coordinates with OEMs to obtain product samples and technical details, involving the operations team for technical evaluation.
- Negotiates with OEMs to secure special and competitive pricing for marketing their products. Liaises with the Dubai Civil Defense Department and other government agencies to acquire necessary approvals for product certifications.
- Communicates directly with freight forwarders to obtain competitive quotes and initiates necessary purchase requisitions for both inward and outward freight movements.
- Generates Purchase Requisitions for Beyond Gas OEMs and other suppliers.
- Monitors the inventory of physical stock and places orders for replenishment. Sales and Customer Relationship Management
- Maintains product knowledge and competitive industry information through customer meetings and interactions, while gathering insights on competitor activities.
- Achieves the budgeted sales volume and income for Beyond Gas products and equipment.
- Identifies business opportunities by recognizing prospects and assessing their position in the industry, as well as researching and analyzing sales options.
Qualifications and Experience
- A graduate in any field with at least 4 to 5 years of experience in customer relations or dealing with customers in sales, marketing, or a service-oriented industry is required.
- Candidates should possess strong spoken and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in additional languages would be a beneficial asset.
- A valid UAE driving license is necessary.
- Essential skills include good PC proficiency and analytical abilities, particularly in MS Word, Excel, and Oracle (Finance).
- The ideal candidate should exhibit a polite demeanor, demonstrate a strong aptitude for listening, and be eager to learn new skills while being customer-friendly.
